PM Deuba embarks on three-day visit to India (With photos)

KATHMANDU: Leading a jumbo delegation, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba left Kathmandu for New Delhi, India on a three-day official visit on Friday.

He is accompanied by his wife Arzu Deuba.

Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand, Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka among others reached the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to bid farewell to PM Deuba.

This is his first visit to India after becoming the Prime Minister in July 2021.

PM Deuba is scheduled to meet Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in Hotel ITC at 4 pm today.

PM Deuba will leave for Raj Ghat at 10: 40 am on Saturday.

He will hold a meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at 11: 10 am in Hyderabad House, New Delhi.

After the meeting, a bilateral meeting between Nepal-India will be held at Hyderabad House in the presence of the Prime Ministers of both countries.

PM Deuba is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu at 4: 30 tomorrow.

He will leave for Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh at 9 am on Sunday.

PM Deuba will return home at 4: 15 pm the same day.
