Nepal logs 22 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 22 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday. No deaths were reported today.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 2,516 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method in the last 24 hours, of which 16 returned positive.

Likewise, 1,319 underwent antigen tests, of which 6 returned positive.

Similarly, the Ministry said that 75 infected recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are 1,022 active cases of Covid-19 in the country as of today.
