Body of newborn baby found on garbage pile in Kathmandu (With video)

KATHMANDU: A dead body of a newborn baby has been found on a pile of garbage near Dhobi Khola river in Setopul of Kathmandu on Thursday.

The body of the infant was found covered with a piece of cloth on the garbage pile this morning, Dinesh Prasad Mainali, Spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu told the Nepal Press.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said Spokesperson Mainali.
