Foreign ministers of Nepal and India hold talks in Colombo

KATHMANDU: Foreign ministers of Nepal and India held a meeting in Colombo, the Capital of Sri Lanka, on the eve of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s visit to India.

Foreign Minister Nayaran Khadka, who had gone to Sri Lanka to take part in the 5th BIMSTEC Summit, and his Indian counterpart Jaishankar discussed preparations for the visit of Prime Minister Deuba to India, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

During the meeting, the Indian Minister discussed connectivity, energy, fertilizer and health among other issues with Minister Khadka, it has been learnt.

He said that an agreement has been reached to take ahead the Ramayan Circuit.
