4 killed, dozens injured in Sarlahi bus accident

SARLAHI: Four persons died and dozens sustained injures when a bus they were travelling in fell off a bridge over the Fuljor River in Sarlahi along the East-West Highway on Sunday.

The bus (Na 4 kha 8555) was en route to Birgunj from Janakpur when the incident occurred this morning.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent to Malangawa for postmortem while the injured have been taken to various health centres in Lalbandiu and Ranigunj for treatment, police said.

Further details of the incident are awaited, police said.
