Nepal records 44 new cases of Covid-19, 1 death on Tuesday 

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 44 new cases of Covid-19 along with one death on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 4,400 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method in the last 24 hours, of which 35 returned positive.

Likewise, 2,099 underwent antigen testss, of which 9 returned positive.

Similarly, the Ministry said that 489 infected recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are current;y 2,688 active cases of Covid-19 in the country as of today while 106 are in institutionalized quarantine.
