Nepal records 17 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 17 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday. No deaths were reported today.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 1,993 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method in the last 24 hours, of which 8 returned positive. Likewise, 2,550 underwent antigen tests, of which 9 returned positive.

Similarly, the Ministry said that 409 infected recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are 3,595 active cases of Covid-19 across the country as of today while 106 are in institutionalized quarantine.
