NRB takes action against 14 commercial banks for not abiding by directives (With list)

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has taken action against 14 commercial banks.

Rastra Bank said that action was taken against the banks for not abiding by the banking directives.

According to Rastra Bank, most of the banks have violated the interest policy.

Himalayan Bank, Nepal SBI Bank, Nepal Bangladesh Bank, Citizen Bank, Sunrise Bank, Mega Bank, Century Bank, Rastriya Banijaya Bank, Nabil Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Nepal Bank and NMB Bank have violated the interest policy.
