Nepal logs 73 fresh Covid-19 cases on Saturday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 73 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday. No deaths were reported today.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 2,238 swab samples were tested through the RT-PCR method in the last 24 hours, of which 30 returned positive.

Likewise, 2,824 underwent antigen tests, of which 43 returned positive to the virus.

Similarly, the Ministry said that 192 infected recovered from the virus in a single day.

With this, the total Covid-19 recovery tally reached 960,878 across the nation.

There are currently 5,050 active cases of Covid-19 as of today while 106 are in institutionalized quarantine, said the Ministry.

Nepal reported 77 fresh Covid-19 cases along with one death on Friday.
