Nepal logs 112 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday
KATHMANDU: Nepal has recorded 112 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday. The number of deaths, however, remained zero today.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 9,328 swab samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said that 6,801 were tested through the RT-PCR method, of which 77 returned positive. Likewise, 2,527 people underwent antigen tests, of which 35 tested positive.
Similarly, the Ministry said that 429 infected people recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours.
There are 5,340 active cases of Covid-19 as of today.
On Wednesday, Nepal reported 224 new cases of Covid-19. No deaths were reported yesterday as well.
