Nepal logs 194 fresh Covid-19 cases, 1 death on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: Nepal has recorded 194 new cases of Covid-19 along with one death on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 6,394 swab samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry said that 3,638 tests were conducted in the RT-PCR, of which 74 returned positive. Likewise, 2,756 underwent antigen tests, of which 120 tested positive.

Similarly,  348 infected people have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are 5,875 active cases in the country as of today.
