Simrik Air chopper sprinkles water to douse Damauli fire (With photos)

KATHMANDU : A Simrik Air helicopter has been used to extinguish the fire that broke out at a hardware store in Damauli, Tanahun on Sunday.

According to journalist Narayan Khadka of Tanahun, a Simrik Airlines chopper has been used after police personnel with the help of locals and fire engines failed to take the flame under control.

The chopper has been sprinkling water lifted from the Madi River to extinguish the fire.
The fire broke out at the Bhupal Hardware Store in Damauli at around 10 am today.

The details of the property destroyed in the fire are yet to be ascertained.
