Government announces public holiday on Gyalpo Lhosar

KATHMANDU: The government has declared a public holiday tomorrow on the occasion of Gyalpo Lhosar, a new year festival of the Sherpa people of Nepal.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, issuing a statement today, decided to give a public holiday across the country on Thursday.

A cabinet meeting held on Wednesday made the decision to this effect.
