MCC will not be implemented if the US did not accept interpretative declarations: Thapa

KATHMANDU : Nepali congress leader Gagan Thapa said that Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) should be endorsed only after announcing the interpretative declaration in the Parliament.

Speaking at a Parliament meeting held on Sunday, leader Thapa said that the MCC will not be implemented if the United States did not accept the interpretative declaration.

“ Let’s have a discussion on the interpretative declaration”, leader Thapa said, “The MCC should be endorsed only after holding discussions on the compact.”
