T20 World Cup Qualifiers: Nepal beat Oman by 39 runs
KATHMANDU: Nepal registered a 39-run victory over Oman in the first match of the T20 World Cup Qualifiers on Friday.
With the excellent bowling performance of Nepal, Oman were bowled out for 78 runs.
Kamal Singh Airee took 3 wickets while Captain Sandeep Lamichhane and Dipendra Singh Airee took two wickets each.
Similarly, Avinash Bohora and Jitendra Mukhiya claimed a wicket each in the match.
Likewise, Aarif Seikh scored highest 38 runs. All-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee scored 11 runs off 18 balls.
Similarly, Gyanendra Malla scored 15 runs off 15 balls and Lokesh Bam contributed 16 runs off 17 balls with a six.
Nepal had set a target of 118 runs against Oman.
