Nepal records 437 fresh Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths on Friday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 437 new cases of Covid-19 along with 2 deaths on Friday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 9,091 swab samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry said that 5,133 tests were conducted in the RT-PCR, of which 275 returned positive. Likewise, 3,958 underwent antigen tests, of which 162 tested positive.

Similarly, 2,454 infected people have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are 14, 435 active cases in the country as of today.

Meanwhile, Kathmandu reported 68 new cases today. Lalitpur and Bhaktapur reported 19 and 2 new cases respectively.
