Speaker urged to call Business Advisory Committee meeting to create envt for holding House meeting
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba urged Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota to convene a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee to create a conducive environment for holding the Parliament meeting.
Prime Minister Deuba telephoned Speaker Sapkota this morning and urged him to create the conducive environment to run the Parliament meeting smoothly.
The Prime Minister, who is also the President of the Nepali Congress, held a phone conversation with Speaker Sapkota after the party lawmakers asked Deuba whether the Parliament will be held tomorrow or not.
Prime Minister Deuba is in favour of holding the Parliament meeting despite the obstruction of the main opposition CPN-UML.
