Govt to administer booster shots to all people above 18 years of age from Sunday (With video)
KATHMANDU: The government has decided to administer booster shots against Covid-19 to all the people above 18 years of age who have been fully vaccinated from Sunday.
Speaking at a press conference organised in the Health Ministry on Friday, Minister Birodh Khatiwada said that all the people above the age of 18 years, who have received double dose, will be administered booster doses from Sunday.
Earlier on Thursday, the government had issued a notice stating that all the people above the age of 18 years, who have completed six months after receiving the second dose will be administered the booster doses.
The Ministry said that Covidshield, AstraZeneca, Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be administered as the booster doses.
The Ministry said that the frontline workers, senior citizens above 60 and those having weak immunity power will be given the priority.
