UML increases size of central departments by amending regulations

KATHMANDU: The main opposition CPN-UML increased the size of central departments by amending the regulations.

The UML made the provision to have 35-member including chief, deputy chief and secretary in 33 departments of the centre by amending the regulations for the fourth time to operate the party.

Earlier, the party had 25-member in the departments.

The party increased the size of the departments to divide the responsibility for the leaders and cadres.

The party said that the Central Committee will elect the Secretary of departments. Earlier, the members used to elect the secretary of the departments.
