Nepal records 2,401 fresh Covid-19 cases, 14 deaths on Wednesday
KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 2,401 new cases of Covid-19 along with 14 deaths on Wednesday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 16,356 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said that 11,603 tests were conducted in the RT-PCR, of which 1,851 returned positive. Likewise, 4,753underwent antigen tests, of which 550 tested positive.
Similarly, the Ministry said that 7,777 infected people have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
There are 30, 241 active cases of Covid-19 as of today.
A total of 246,000 people have been vaccinated against the virus in a single day.
Meanwhile, 1,017 Covid-19 cases have been reported in the Kathmandu valley in the last 24 hours.
