Nepal logs 1,957 fresh Covid-19 cases, 11 deaths on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 1,957 new cases of Covid-19 along with 11 deaths on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), out of 8,587 tests that were conducted through RT-PCR, 1,184 returned positive while 4,105 underwent antigen tests, of which 773 tested positive.

The Ministry said that 5,103 infected people have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are 36,181 active cases in the country as of today.
