NEPSE drops by 40.57 points on Sunday

KATHMANDU : The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the sole secondary market of the country, plunged by 40.57 points to close at 2836.17 points on Sunday.

Similarly, the sensitive index fell 7.73 points to close at 531.92 points.

A total of 10,651,754 units of the shares of 228 companies were traded for Rs 5.83 billion.

Likewise, all the sub-indices saw red in today’s market.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalisation stood at Rs 4.008 trillion.

Meanwhile, Nepal Hydro Developers Limited (NHDL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 8.08 percent.
