Rainfall, snowfall affect life across the country (With photos)

KATHMANDU: The country has witnessed light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning in many places of the country due to the effect of the western low-pressure system.

Various places of the Kathmandu Valley have been witnessing rainfall since yesterday.

Similarly, some high mountainous regions of the country have witnessed snowfall, affecting the normal life.

At present, the temperature of Kathmandu valley is recorded at 6 degrees Celsius.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will improve gradually from Sunday.
