Three arrested for involvement in illegal networking business

DANG: At least three persons were arrested for allegedly being involved in an online networking business.

According to SP of District Police Office Suresh Kafle, three persons of Rolpa, who are currently residing in Ghorahi, were taken under control for defaulting Rs 17,000 in the name of the online networking business.

Police said that the accused were arrested acting on a complaint lodged by a victim.

It has been said that the arrested were hotel operators, however, their names have been kept secret, police said.

Preliminary investigation revealed that they have been operating an online networking business collecting money from people asking them to invest saying that the money will double in few months. RSS
