Nepal records 3,175 fresh Covid-19, 14 deaths on Thursday
KATHMANDU: Nepal has recorded as many as 3,175 new cases of Covid-19 along with 14 deaths on Thursday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 12,605 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of them, 10,026 were PCR tests while 2,579 were antigen tests.
Similarly, 8,723 people infected with the virus have recovered in the past 24 hours.
At present, there are currently 63,296 active cases of Covid-19 in the country.
As many as 266,540 infected people have received vaccines against Covid-19 in a single day.
As per the latest data of the Ministry, Kathmandu Valley recorded 1,509 new infections in the past 24 hours. Of these, 1,249 cases were confirmed in Kathmandu, 183 in Lalitpur and 77 in Bhaktapur.
