NEPSE drops by 30.77 points on Wednesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index plunged by 30.77 points to close at 2,649.18 points on Wednesday.

Similarly, the sensitive index fell 6.68 points to reach 497.03 points.

A total of 9,559,429 units of shares of 236 companies were traded for Rs 4.62 billion.

In today’s market, all sub-indices saw red except for Hydropower and Finance.

At the end of the day, total market capitalisation stood at Rs 2.74 trillion.

Meanwhile, Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidyut was the top gainer for today, with its price surging by 9.96 percent. Vijaya Lagubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd was the top loser as its price fell by 4.55 percent.
