NC leader Paudel urges UML Chair Oli to end House obstruction

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel held a meeting with the main opposition CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli at the latter’s residence in Balkot on Wednesday.

During the meeting, leader Paudel urged Oli to end the House obstruction.

Saying that it would not send a good message if the House is obstructed for a long time, he urged the UML chairman to find the way out through talks.

In response, Oli said that his party would continue the obstruction until the Speaker take action against 14 lawmakers expelled by the party.

Paudel has become close to Prime Minister and party President Sher Bahadur Deuba after the 14th general convention.
