Dahal reelected as CPN (Maoist Centre) chairman

KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been elected as the chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre) unopposed for the next five years.

The first meeting of the Central Committee elected from the 8th general convention of party held on Monday decided to pick Dahal as the chairman of the party.

Leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha had proposed to elect Dahal as the chairman of the party while Krishna Bahadur Mahara seconded the proposal.
