CPN (MC) closed session deferred till 1 pm tomorrow

KATHMANDU: The closed session of the 8th general convention of the CPN (Maoist Centre) has been put off till 1 pm tomorrow.

All the election programmes scheduled for today night have been postponed for 1 pm tomorrow.

The process to elect new leadership was started after the endorsement of political report presented by party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and constitution amendment proposal presented by leader Dev Gurung.

The time to nominate central committee members as per consensus was given till this evening.

After the party could not choose the central committee members, all the election programmes scheduled for today have been postponed for tomorrow to hold further discussions.
