SC orders government not to implement its decision to suspend NTB CEO

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued an interim order directing the government not to implement the decision to suspend Nepal Tourism Board Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dhananjaya Regmi.

A single of Justice Deepak Kumar Karki issued the order not to implement the Devi to suspend Regmi.

Earlier, the government had formed a probe committee under the headship of Vice-Chairman Chandra Rijal to carry out investigation over the works of Regmi.

Regmi had moved the court saying that it was illegal to suspend him from the post of NTB CEO.

Responding to his writ, the apex court had summoned both sides the discuss the issue.
