CPN (MC) Chairman Dahal tables political report in closed session

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal tabled his ideological and political report in the closed session of the party’s eighth general convention on Monday.

The report has not been distributed to the convention representatives and supervisors.

Leader Dev Prasad Gurung is scheduled to table the party statute amendment proposal.

Meanwhile, a seven-member presidium has been formed under the headship of party standing committee member Krishna Bahadur Mahara.

Giriraj Mani Pokharel, Ganesh Sah, Parshuram Tamang, Purna Kumari Subedi, Parshuram Ramtel and Rupa Maharjan are other members of the presidium.

It has been learnt that discussions on the report and party statute amendment proposal will begin today itself. RSS
