Dahal accuses UML of trying to dissolve House for third time

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal accused the main opposition CPN-UML of trying to dissolve the Parliament for the third time.

He said so during a programme organised in the Capital on Saturday.

Saying that the UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has been trying to dissolve the House for the third time, the Maoist Chairman said that they would not allow him to do so.

“We reinstated the House for the first time from the road and second time from the Parliament. We will not allow him to dissolve the Parliament for the third time,”he said.

Stating that Oli would not attend the all-party meeting, he said, “I have told Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba that it’s better to go to Balkot than calling him to Baluwatar.”

“Though I said that all the parties should attend the all-party meeting to discuss the Millennium Challenge Corporation, Oli did not participate in the meeting,” he said.

Oli wanted to dissolve the Parliament for the third time, he said.
