NEPSE rises by 12.53 points on Thursday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) increased by 12.53 points to close at 2,520.23 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week. This is the third consecutive day that the secondary market saw the growth.

Similarly, the sensitive index soared by 0.10 points to close at 477.36 points.

A total of 8,323,923 units of shares of 229 companies were traded for Rs 4.49 billion.

In today’s market, all the sub-indices saw the green today except for Development Bank, Hydropower and Finance.

At the end of the day, total market capitalisation stood at Rs 3.54 trillion.

Meanwhile, Shikhar Insurance Co. Ltd was the top gainer with its price surging by 9.97 percent while Gurkhas Finance Ltd was the top loser with its price fell by 6.74 percent.
