NEPSE surges by 92.16 points on Wednesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange index has increased by 92.16 points on Wednesday to close at 2,507.70 points.

Similarly, the sensitive index rose to 14.74 points to close at 477.26 points.

A total of 8,104,319 units of the shares of 233 companies were traded for Rs 4.52 billion.

All the sub-indices saw the green today with life insurance index leading the table with 502.77 points followed by Non-Life Insurance with 487.36          points.

At the end of the day, total market capitalisation stood at Rs 3.53 trillion.

Meanwhile, Arun Valley Hydropower Development Corporation Ltd was the top gainer with its price surging by 10 percent while Nabil Debenture was the top loser with its price fell by 4. 59 percent.
