NEPSE rises by 56.73 points on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange, the sole secondary market of the country, increased by 56.73 points on Tuesday to close at 2,415.55 points.

Similarly, the sensitive index rose to 11.34 points to close at 462.52 points.

A total of 4,974,253 units of the shares of 226 companies were traded for Rs 2.38 billion.

All the sub-indices saw the green today with life insurance index leading the list with 206.58            points followed by Non-Life Insurance with 204.34 points.

At the end of the day, total market capitalisation stood at Rs 3.4 trillion.

Meanwhile, Green Development Bank Ltd was the top gainer with its price surging by 10 percent while Gurkha Finance Ltd was the top loser with its price fell by 8.89 percent.
