2 Indian nationals held with counterfeit Nepali currency

RAUTAHAT: Police on Wednesday rounded up two Indian nationals with counterfeit Nepali currency from Narkatiya, Paroha Municipality-8, Rautahat.
Bikash Jayaswal (26) and Ajay Prasad (32) of Motihari, Bihar were arrested in possession of fake Nepali currency with the face value of 69,500 yesterday afternoon, police said.
A team deputed from the Motihari Police Post apprehended Bikash and Ajay with 69 notes in denomination of 1000 and a note in denomination of 500 during a security check. Police said that they have also impounded their motorbike (BR 05 K 3636).
Police said that they are looking into the case.
