NEPSE plunges by 4.23 points on Wednesday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell 4.23 points to close at 2,414.62 points on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a total of 9,879,109 unit of shares of 228 companies were traded for Rs 4.58 billion.

Similarly, the sensitive index plunged by 0.89 points to close at 459.41 points.

In today’s market, all sub-indices saw green except for five trading groups—Hotels and Tourism (53.28 points), Life Insurance (43.98), Microfinance (17.79), Others (11.05) and Banking (9.28).

At the end of the day, total market capitalisation stood at Rs 3.39 trillion.
