2 health workers arrested for selling Covid-19 vaccines

JANAKPURDHAM: A team deployed from the Commission for Investigation of Abuse and Authority(CIAA), Bardibas arrested two persons on the charge of selling Covid-19 vaccines from Zero mile of Janakpurdham-7.

The arrestees have been identified as health assistant Ajay Shah of a local help post and his helper Krishna Kumar Yadav of Mahottari Rural Municipality-2, Mahottari.  

The team apprehended the duo soon after they sold three vials of Johnson & Johnson vaccines for Rs 21,000.

They have been kept in custody for investigation.
