CPN (US) appoints chief whip in both houses of federal parliament

KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) has appointed chief whips in both houses of the federal parliament.

A meeting of the party held on Sunday decided to appoint Jeevan Ram Shrestha as the chief whip of the parliamentary party of the House of Representatives. Shrestha is also the secretary of the party.

Similarly, Sher Bahadur Kunwar has been appointed as the chief whip of the national assembly.

CPN (Unified Socialist) appointed only the chief whip as only the first and second parties get the facility of whip.
