NEPSE plunges by 5.84 points on Thursday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell 5.84 points to close at 2,449.97 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

Meanwhile, a total of 6,223,721 unit shares of 231 companies were traded for Rs 2.673 billion.

Similarly, the sensitive index increased by 0.43 points to close at 465.23 points.

In today’s market, all sub-indices saw red except for Hotel and Tourism, Mutual Fund, Investment and others index.

The non-life insurance index lost the most with a fall of 60.27 points.

At the end of the day, total market capitalisation stood at Rs 3444. 26 billion.
