2 killed in Bajura truck accident

KAILALI:  A truck driver and driver’s helper died on the spot when a truck they were travelling in met with an accident at Kapri of Jagannath rural municipality-6 in Bajura district on Thursday.

The deceased have been identified as Mohan Joshi (42) of Banke district and BP Shahi of Tajakot rural municipality-3, informed the District Police Office, Bajura.

The incident took place when a truck (Bhe 1 Kha 3468) heading towards Humla from Nepalgunj fell some 500 meters down from the cliff this morning, police said.

Police are further investigating the case.
