Car hit kills one in Kanchanpur

KALILAI: A person died after being hit by a car in Kanchanpur along the East-West highway on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Tara Nath of Krishnapur municipality-2, Bani.

According to police, Nath died on the spot when he was hit by an Indian number plate car coming from east and heading towards west in Krishnapur Municipality-2 this morning.

Following the incident, relatives of the deceased and the locals have obstructed the East-West Highway since morning, police said.
