Snowfall forecast for next three days
KATHMANDU: Snowfall has been forecast in the country for the next three days due to the influence of the Westerly wind and the low-pressure system formed at the Arabian Sea.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather is presently generally to mostly cloudy in Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province and Sudur Pashchim Province and partly to generally cloudy in rest of the Provinces.
Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudur Pashchim Province. Similarly, there are chances of light to moderate snowfall in some places of the high mountainous region.
Likewise, the weather will be generally to mostly cloudy in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudur Pashchim Province tonight and will be partly to generally cloudy in rest of the Provinces.
Today’s minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley was 6.3 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature was 21.0 degree Celsius.
Similarly, Jumla reported the lowest -2.0 degree Celsius while Bhairahawa recorded the highest 30.0 degree Celsius across the country today. RSS
