UML leader Lal Babu Pandit refuses post of central member

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Lal Babu Pandit has refused the post of central member of the party.

Pandit’s name was in the list of 301 central members proposed by Chairman KP Sharma Oli yesterday.

He was the aspiring for the post of UML vice-chairman. However, Oli refused to give him that post.

Talking to NepalPress over phone, Pandit said that he will not accept the post of central member.

“I will not be a central member of the UML,” he said, adding, “I have already informed the party about this matter.”
