Woman and two children found dead in Sarlahi

SARLAHI : A woman and her two children were found dead at Barahathawa in Sarlahi on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Kavita Hajara(26), her six-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son of Barahathawa municipality-1, Naya Bazar. 

The woman was found hanging and the children were found lying dead on the floor inside their house this morning, Madhav Prasad Budhathoki, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Information officer at the District Police Office, Sarlahi, said.

After receiving the information from the locals, a team of police rushed to the spot and took the bodies of the deceased to the district hospital of Sarlahi for post-mortem. 

According to the locals, Kabita’s husband, Shiva Hajara is abroad for employment.

Further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
