Former NSC veep Sherpa passes away

KATHMANDU: Former Vice-President of National Sports Council Lama Tendi Sherpa passed away on Wednesday. He was 51.

Sherpa, who was suffering from motor neuron disease, breathed his last during the course of treatment at a hospital in Baluwatar this morning.

Sherpa was also the General Secretary of Nepal Olympic Committee and President of Nepal Basketball Association.
