“I have not decided yet whether to file candidacy for UML Chairmanship”

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli said that he has not decided yet whether to file candidacy for the post of Chairman in the upcoming 10th general convention of the party.

He said so during an interaction with journalists in the Capital on Tuesday.

Chairman Oli said that consensus, understanding and unity are essential for the party.

“We will not ignore the democratic practice while doing so,” he said.

He went on to say that leader Bhim Rawal has shown love and respect to him by announcing candidacy for the post of Chairman in the upcoming general convention.

Saying that there is freedom for all to compete in the convention, Oli said that he will not force anyone in the name of consensus.

The convention will be held in Chitwan from November 26 to 28.
