3 children killed in Sindhupalchok fire

KATHMANDU: Three children died in a fire that broke out in Helambu of Sindhupalchok district on Tuesday.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.

According to Helambu Rural Municipality Chairman Nima Gyalgen Sherpa, the children died after a chow shed caught the fire where they were playing this morning. Sherpa said the fire started from the dry leaves and killed the children.

He said that police reached the incident site soon after they got the information.

The details of the incident are yet to come.
