Four held with leopard hides in Surkhet

SURKHET: Police on Sunday arrested four persons in possession of leopard hides from Barahatal Rural Municipality -5, Baddichaur.

The arrestees have been identified as  Kamal Shahi and Chakra Bahadur Shahi of Panchadewal Municipality-4, Achham, Upendra Shah of Ramaroshan Rural Municipality -4 and Bimal Shahi of Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality -2.

A joint team of District Police Office Surkhet and Karnali Province Police Office nabbed them with three pieces of leopard hides from a hotel in Baddichaur Bazar.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
