17-year-old girl raped in Lahan, accused absconding

SIRAHA: A 17-year-old girl becomes a victim of sexual violence in Siraha district.

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police(DSP) of Area Police Office Lahan, Dr Tapan Dahal,  a complaint has been filed against Shiva Paswan (24)  for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl of Lahan municipality-14 on Thursday. The accused is absconding, he said.

Police said that the search for absconding is going on after completing the medical examination of the victim.

Further investigation into the incident is going on, said the police.
